Transform yourself with Schick

It's a bird.. it's a plane.. no it's Superman!, There's no doubt the Man of steel is all set to invade Philippine cinemas this coming June! Well who doesn't wanna see one of the most famous and most sucessful and iconic super hero that had ever been?.

The unmatchable strength, flight, speed and laser vision who would go against you if you had such power? and not to mention a hunky body and the looks that could make girls head over hills, yeah being superman includes the looks, Henry Cavill, Brandon Routh, Tom Welling with this guys well I'm pretty much sure of that.

If only I could be him, the Superman, or just to have his powers even just just for A WEEK! I'm sure I could do tons of things.
I think the first thing I would do is to fly from a country after another, haha yeah, of course, no visa, no passport and plane tickets needed for that haha, And it can be done in no time too.
Hmm how about the strength what could I possibly do with such power? As if there's villains or aliens would appear and invade the earth, well I guess I could use it to build or fix something, hmm how about the "leaning tower or Pisa"? hahaha or our church here which was under renovations for years now.
I could even go help in space exploration through Superman's power, well I saw some outer space scenes at superman movies and cartoons, so I guess that's possible
Hmm there's indeed a lot of things that you can do having such abilities but one thing is for sure, at time like this, that's most everyone were at their knees begging for something to hold on, being a Superman, the least yet the best thing you can do is be an inspiration to others, a source of hope and icon of courage. But I guess you don't need to be Superman for that, it would naturally comes out from a heart filled with love and that what makes us Super.

Reality Knocks

Well it may have not shown on the way I act, but for the past two months or more my mind suffered a devastating agony. I was tormented through a collision of fear, anxiety and doubts. But then I was thankful because God never, not even for a single moment let me down! and now I could barely say I'm pretty much ok.

Anyway I don't wanna whine here because as you can see, my blog was never intended to promote negativity. Today I just wanted to share some few stuffs I learned, it may not make sense for you but I'll share it anyway haha.

Sometimes the less you know, the easier life would be- 

Well if you don't know you were about to die or severely sick, you wouldn't stress yourself due it; or if you don't know you're being cheated it wouldn't hurt right? the lighter the things are the easier for you to go along.

The closer at death you are, the more eager you are to live-

As Morrie said "once you learn how to die, you learn how to live". If you feel like dying, that is when past and future will haunt you, for the things you failed to do and for the thing you wouldn't be able to.

Disappointment in yourself, was even more hurtful than unto others-

Hmm how Am I gonna say this, in this world most people would really disappoint you, your lover, friends or even family can do or should I say, will do! but what hurts the most is when you found out that it is you who were really disappointing. I believe the last person for you to rely on was no one but yourself so if you fail everything does. Maybe you're kinda wondering why this? well I backread some of my post and most, if not all had disappointed me haha.

Regrets can't undo things, but can lead to a new beginning- 

As the saying goes, "regrets is always at the end" which I bet, no one wouldn't agreed right?. But the thing is when you regret things, that's when you're starting to realize your fault and learning from it, it may be too late for undoing things but never for redoing it rightly once again.

Sincerest Prayers can change everything-

I think there's no word needed for this, Lord is great, he listens and responds with his eternal love for us.

American Idol+ outreach + photo shoot + Ako si mecoy = random

Honestly, I'm not quite in the mood to post, but something tells me that I must haha,
for today I feel like to do a random post, I hope you guys don't mind.

.....American Idol 12
hmm have you been watching American Idol season 12 lately? if you do I bet you know that they were already down to the top 9 right?. A lot of changes has been made for the entire competition this year, for the first time they had this Las Vegas week and it was also the first time that they only had 10 finalist. And on my opinion the panel is really great, it was better than the previous ones which offers synonimous commentaries and boring conversations.
Well regarding the finalist I must say girls are on the top for these past few rounds and I'm wishing the show would have a girl winner this time, I'm so sick of the WGWG curse the show had for the past seasons.
I'm rooting for Candice Glover, her vocals were astonishing, but then Amber Holcomb and Angie Miller did pretty good too right?

Anyway just a little trivia about Candice, she and Jessica Sanchez as well as Deandre  were on the same  group in Hollywood week back in season 11 but unfortunately got eliminated.

Their theme for this week would be Lennon-McCartney song book and Jessica Sanchez will be their guest.

I'm asking some of my relatives if they has something to donate for these project, unfortunately I still got nothing, urgh there's gonna be something that I can do to help! I'm still quite uncertain about my attendance on it, tho I really wanted to.

Random : A Break Before the end

Well, Perhaps you're surprise to see that my post for today wasn't a part of my BLOG SHIFT series huh,
I just can't help but to share some random things happened this past few days and since my Blog shifting is about to end i'll just take a rest.

I've been completing all the Dawn masses/ Misa de Gallo/ Simbang gabi and I'm enjoying waking up 3 in the morning worshiping god, Well, I'm not doing this for any wish list I just want to be a step closer to god.
There are lots of thing I have been learning throughout the mass, and our priest here were just the best.

Its been a busy day, me and my cousin went shopping for gifts hahaha, and its been really tiring, but still happy. If you don't know it's been almost three months since the last time I went out so I was surprised with a lot of changes along our way,and yes I finally saw Christmas haha.

Earlier this week, I have receive a gift from a very good blogger friend, well it was actually a prize from spamming hahaha. This was the first gift I have receive from a blogger and it was from a Malaysian, so basically this gift traveled thousand of miles to get here. I felt so appreciated having this well actually I somehow felt like an outcast here in the blogosphere lately, but thanks to my Malaysian friends and some Filipino bloggers as well who made me feel better.
Well as you can see, I don't have the perfect grammar, perhaps some of you might find me trying hard to run an English blog, I came to a point that I was thinking of using Tagalog instead but I just can't let go of my friend from somewhere else,

All I want for Christmas

Well I'm still quite busy so I have decided to do various post at once haha pardon me for that lol.

Sorry? what does it means to you? how often you say or hear such word?. Sorry is being said when you feel pity or regret, when you commit mistake, or even for you to show some sympathy. But what does SORRY really does? it doesn't change what's said and done well I guess it doesn't make any change at all. Sometimes it can make you feel better but sometimes its the other way around, that is when SORRY, wasn't said the way it has to be or if it was just been said which makes it seems nothing but words. Sorry is just a word after all what makes it special was the intention or how you mean it as well as the things that you are willing to do just to make it right. You might be wondering why did I came up with this topic it's just that I been dealing with such word for the same reason for almost 24 months and now I feel numb about it. I wont go much into details cause i want to keep it positive today as for the following topics.

Well if you remember in my last post I attended my niece's 7th birthday which had been so much fun, but just last Saturday its my other nieces's birthday, 7th as well and yes "NIECES" because they were twins. Jessica's birthday (the first one) was disney themed while Bernadette and Veronica's (the twins) was barbie themed which was as well cool. I tool care of this three lovely young ladies back then when they were still babies and I did that alone and at once imagine me baby sitting three babies at one time? hahaha. Fun is given present at both parties but the food factor goes to Jessica's party while the glam goes to the twin's.

Now for the main topic, I was tagged by the gorgeous artist, Jessica Lopez with this fun post chain and I can't afford to ignore it so here it goes.

Well I was planning to do a long series of post but there are thing still has to be done before I could proceed on this haha for now I'll just do a random post.

Next in line was for me being as the Top commentator on Sk's weekly chart I know some of you knows how hard I tried to get into the top list actually last week was already an overwhelming experience for me, I mean being on the third spot was something to cherish and I tried my very best to stay on that position but then I was surprised that I was this week's top commentator though I know it was just a rare opportunity I still feel great about it. Busy me: Just another tough week

It had been another busy week for me, and it seems like a roller coaster ride a lot of ups and downs. My apologies to my delayed comments on your blogs but though I tried to take every available time to visit your blogs. There’s so much to tell so I think we better get started.

It all begun with the first misfortune of the week, our computer collapsed and we can do nothing about it. We think it has something to do with the hard drive so therefore no internet for several days and I’m pissed of by that we want to have it fixed but time is just too short for us.

My girlfriend paid me a visit, at first I thought it was the happiest day of the week but when the night comes I was pissed off by what she have done or maybe should I say what she did not do. I don’t purchase load for my phone except for some emergencies well perhaps it was  just to prevent her empty doubts beside she calls me every night. But this past few weeks the calls were lessen even the conversations got shortened which I understand, I don’t want to take all of her time anyways. But on that day she visited me, she leave to go back home I expected her to call me as soon as she made it as she always does but there’s none even a single text message. The next morning still there no call or message from her I was worried of course. I checked my facebook just to be sure if she dropped some message but still there is none. Later around 9 pm she finally called but just to say that she’s on her way home she said she hanged out with some friends. It was a short conversation because she her phone have few charge left she assured me she’s gonna call again which she did but just to say good night. And up until now there is no apologies though she knew I was mad about it. To be honest I wasn’t feelin good regarding our relationship but I knew for a fact that I still love her so much that I can’t afford to lose her. Well I guess relationship and love  isn’t about being happy after all.

Me and my cousin Blue and Mirasol registered for the sacrament of confirmation or “ kumpil”   a month ago and have attended seminars for several Sundays as it was a requirement for the said event. Friday night was our schedule for the “kumpisal” or confession. And then we rehearsed for the event the next morning it took us four hours to get it done. I think all of the candidates were more than a hundred. Then lastly Sunday afternoon was for the actual event, it was lead by the bishop of our sector the ceremony went well and the whole event was so solemn. After the sacrament of confirmation it feels like ten steps closer to god.

We also have attended my niece’s birthday. I took care of her back then when she was still a toddler but now she just turned seven. The party was really cute the theme was Disney princesses, The food as well were pretty good. We had fun watching programs such as 7 roses, candles etc just like how traditional debut is.

Throughout this series of event I surprisingly I have finished reading a book the first book I have ever read. Well it was “Lorien Legacies-I am Number Four “ a pretty easy to read book. Though I have seen the movie I find reading it’s book better and I understand the whole story even more. Reading it seems like being in the actual event that was happening ,you can see the images describe on the book clearly and you can feel as the main character feels as if you were one which I think the best thing a book can do. Now I was looking forward to read the next book my cousin blue has his copy of “the rise of nine” but of course I have to read “the power of six” first. Can anyone lend me a copy? haha

Everything seems back to normal though there are still some events to attend and things has to be done but one thing is for sure I’ll keep in touch ;).

Busy Hands

This past four days I've been too busy, My cousin approached me and asked for a little help with regards to her workmate's child project. Her office mate hired me to do the said project which was actually a big book. Since I've been doing this for a long time I accepted it but its quite too late when I knew  it was a rush project and i only have 4 days (3 actually) to finish it. I usually finish a book for almost a week each so for a sudden It felt like Im in trouble. I have no choice but to do it, I just put additional effort and time for this so I can finish it in time.
And here it goes. I was surprised that the story they want me to draw was a short story from a fellow blogger. The title was "Ang Karton at ang mga kwento ng lumang Laruan"( the box and the stories of the old toys) by Erwin Aguila of  lipadlaya.wordpress.com it was his entry for saranggola blog awards 2011 and ranked second on the children stories category( I just hope he wouldn't mind this post.)

I'll try to do a brief summary of the said story:

 

"Ang Karton at ang mga Kwento ng mga Lumang Laruan"

(The Box and the Stories of the Old Toys)

One ordinary day there was an old brown box left at a corner of a retail store. Suddenly an old man attached a piece of paper on the said box. The Box can't read what is written on that paper but he told himself that somehow he can still be used even just as a trash box.

One day, a maid put a dirty, rugged, doll. That instance the box felt happy because of his new company.

The box asked the doll what happened to her that caused her to be that dirty. The doll told her story to her new found friend. She said she was once a very beautiful expensive doll with a lovely red dress and golden hair until, she was owned by a naughty girl who does a lot of crazy things to her. The girl cut her hair and she was even soaked in mud.

Days have passed again, somebody placed a blue robot toy inside the box. Though he seems not ok the box and the doll asked how is he doing." well here am I, I look disgusting, my arm was broken and so as my battery box nothing more but a junk" the robot replied.

He continued telling his story. He said he was bought by a loving father to give to his youngest son. His son was really pleased having him but his older brother was jealous about it. One time as he was being played, the older brother wants to borrow him, but the younger kid refused . So the older boy grab the robots other arm that caused him to fall on the ground.

As days pass more toys were added on the box. And lastly the old man who attached that mysterious paper on the box, placed five clay bars inside the box. All toys were curious of what are they and what were their stories be.

So the green and orange clay started telling their story. They said there were a girl who had a terrible accident which blinded her. The girls lose hope and faith in her self. Until the girl's grand father gave them to her.

They also said that the blind girl really has a wonderful talent, a gifted child indeed. From then on the girl once again started believing in her self and they were proud to say that as of now the said girl was one of the most talented in the field of arts.

Toys know nothing about arts and so the clay explained what its truly is. the clay told the other toys,

that Art refers to any practice which shows beauty to its surroundings based on his feelings, vision, smell, and experience. 

While they were talking the old man already sealed the box. They all knew that they were about to be thrown in a dump site. All they wishes is for some good kid to pick them up. They want to do good and teach children great things as well.

The box traveled quite long, while the toys were , tossed, bumped and flipped inside him.

on that time they somehow forgot their destination

The Box reached to where they were heading to. He was placed on a truck together with some other boxes like him. From there he was able to read what is written on that paper attached to him.

From there the box smiled and thought of a wonderful picture of kids that were excited for toys and toys that are longing for the love of kids.

Different but Equal

Well it's been all over the news, in TV, broadsheets and in the world wide web...reelectionist Barrack Obama once again won the American election 2012. 

Does it has something to do with me?, with us? will it cause our country any good at all?

I actually don't know, I mean I know nothing about politics or I don't know how Obama did on his entire term or what so ever,

 all I know is, it is great to see a man who finds a way to break through racism and discrimination.

 For me Obama somehow symbolizes equality I mean for him being the America's first black president and his support on same sex marriage he sure is an icon of parity which give me an Idea of this post

It's just sad that up until now discrimination was somehow still exist.

Discrimination in racial diversity, in color, and disability.

God made us all different in all aspect, different in sexuality, language, race, features, color, belief religon and a whole lot more. 

But in my own point of view we may be created differently but god made us equally. 

I doesn't matter if you are black or white, Straight or gay, or even if you are born normal or with some sort of disability,

we are all human...

 human who feels, laugh, cry, we are people who has equal rights, we are all deserving for respect and most of all we need and are all capable of love..

And with this if we turn down all inequality

peace and unity will never be far at reach.

I also feels like sharing this inspiring story I found online

I dont know if its true or what, but this gave me goosebumps and makes a lot of sense

This happened on TAM airlines.

A 50-something year old white woman arrived at her seat and saw that the passenger next to her was a black man. Visibly furious, she called the air hostess.

"Whats the problem, ma?" the hostess asked her

"Cant you see?" the lady said - "I was given a seat next to a black man. I cant seat here next to him. You have to change my seat"

- "Please, calm down, ma" - said the hostess

"Unfortunately, all the seats are occupied, but I`m still going to check if we have any."

The hostess left and returned some minutes later.

"Madam, as I told you, there isn`t any empty seat in this class- economy class.

But I spoke to the captain and he confirmed that there isn`t any empty seats in the economy class. We only have seats in the first class."

And before the woman said anything, the hostess continued

"Look, it is unusual for our company to allow a passenger from the economy class change to the first class.

However, given the circumstances, the commandant thinks that it would be a scandal to make a passenger travel sat next to an unpleasant person."

And turning to the black man, the hostess said:

"Which means, Sir, if you would be so nice to pack your handbag, we have reserved you a seat in the first class..."

And all the passengers nearby, who were shocked to see the scene started applauding, some standing on their feet."

      

My Children

Today I feel like sharing to you guys my beloved children, yeah children coz that's how I consider them haha,

This post was inspired by "Fing-Fing" Sk's son if you visit Sk's blog you'll know what I mean.

Well they were not really kids they were actually my stuffed toys.

Let's start with my oldest, his name is Mike I got him from m father twelve years ago.

He's always jealous, sweet, and he loves dressing up.

Honestly I love him the most haha.

Next in line is this kid, He looks like his daddy so I named him after me.

Melvin jr. likes to play pretend. Sometimes he pretend he was a tiger and sometimes a panda

Now here's Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper together with their son Paprika. 

This key chain means a lot to me, since we call each other salt and pepper

 I bought two of this and I gave the other one to my girl Friend,

This is Tabs from the root word Taba(fat) do I need to explain why? haha

but don't tell him I called him taba he doesn't want that

he sees himself sexy.

Now here Mint my girlfriend gave it to me she said she found it in her closet and since Im a panda

lover she gave it to me, and by the way he is blind.

Here's Mush-mush, he was also from my girl friend.He has skin disease and he was sickly so thats why he has that hat and scarf. 

This Rilakkuma the first time I bought it I wasn't aware that this kind of toys is quite known.

So maybe thats why he's kinda bossy haha he acts and dress up like a prince  

Lastly here's Jj, He's always full of energy he like to hug me and he's quite vain just like his

dad he even hates to step on the floor.

Well if you may notice they were a bit dirty already so today they were having a bath.

Jj and Tabs were quite clean and its dangerous for Mush-Mush  so they were exempted. 

They all hates to take a bath maybe because..

... it's painful to see them hanging but daddy said it's for their own good haha.
